These are fermented
decoctions of medicines prepared adding honey, jaggery, sugar
and the powder of some medicines including spices. These
preparations have alcohol content within a range of 6-10%
which is generated as a result of fermentation itself. Some of

Malabsorption
syndrome, respiratory disorders, rheumatic diseases,
inflammatory conditions, indigestion, jaundice, ascitis
and diseases of urinary system. It is also used in post
natal care. |
