These are fermented preparations produced adding honey, jaggery, sugar juices and the powder of some medicines including spices. These preparations have alcohol within a range of 6-10% which is generated as a result of fermentation itself.


NAME REFERENCE INDICATION MODE OF USE
ARAVINDASAVAM SAHASRAYOGAM Various paediatric diseases, especially general weakness and indigestion. Children : 5-15 ml.,
2-3 times daily after food.
LOHASAVAM SHARNGADHARASAMHITHA Anaemia, jaundice, hepatic and splenic diseases, oedema and malabsorption syndrome. Adults : 25-30 ml., 2-3 times daily after food.
Children : 5-15 ml., 2-3 times daily after food
